For the first time in two years, Faculty Training Institute (FTI) will be delivering the Certificate Programme in Business Analysis (CPBA) in Durban at the end of June 2018. FTI has a reputation for responding to industry and national skills requirements and for this reason it is back in Durban, an important business hub in South Africa.
If you are a new or intermediate business analyst based in KwaZulu-Natal, this comprehensive five-month part-time programme is ideal for you.
It will cover the fundamental skills, techniques and competencies needed by professional business analysts. If you are a non-business analyst or a test analyst, project manager or IT consultant, this qualification will give you a solid understanding of the role of business analysis in modern organisations, as well as skills as a business analyst.
One of the main benefits of doing the FTI CPBA, is that it can be used as a pathway to receiving the full SAQA accredited, NQF level 6, National Certificate: Business Analysis.
Once you have completed the CPBA, you can gain workplace experience as a BA and then come back and apply for the Applied Programme in Business Analysis (APBA). Another advantage is that FTI is an IIBA Charter Endorsed Education Provider, so you are assured of a qualification of high value and quality.
The programme kicks off on 29 June 2018 at Coastlands Resorts and Hotels, Umhlanga Rocks. It will be run part-time over five months and at the same venue. Module one is delivered on 29 and 30 June and 13 and 14 July (Friday and Saturday). Subsequent modules are conducted on Saturdays.
