Labels are printed, scanned, and bar codes graded based on ISO standards. If a bar code is rejected, the printer will retract and strike-through the entire label and reprint a new label. When used in conjunction with Printronix PrintNet Enterprise remote manage tool, companies can generate a "print-job" report that includes the quality and grade of each bar code printed. These reports can then be used to prove the integrity of each label as it leaves the point of origin and enters the supply chain, potentially saving companies thousands of dollars in non-compliance fines or enabling them to meet regulatory requirements for bar code quality.
