Dell Technologies to preview ‘Data Decade’ at upcoming online forum

Dell Technologies will give South African organisations a preview of what they will need to thrive in the Data Decade to 2030, during a the annual Dell Technologies Forum, which will be hosted as a digital event this year.

The Dell Technologies Forum 2020, hosted with sponsors Intel and Microsoft, will outline the changing pace of digital transformation globally, with forecasts on what the next decade will bring and how organisations should prepare.

This engaging event will outline the findings of the recent Dell Technologies Digital Transformation Index, with a prerecorded message from Chairman and CEO Michael Dell’s vision for the next Data Decade to 2030, and a keynote address by John Roese, Dell Technologies Global CTO, on accelerating digital transformation.

Doug Woolley, Managing Director, Dell Technologies, South Africa, will look at how the disruptions of 2020 have been a catalyst for digital transformation, and Aongus Hegarty, President of International Markets at Dell Technologies, will elaborate on Dell Technologies’ expanded as a service capabilities and Project APEX.

Featuring TV Presenter and Entrepreneur Tania Habimana as MC, and a guest appearance by Springbok player Pieter-Steph du Toit, the forum will include 27 breakout sessions covering flexibility in IT, the digital workspace and innovating through data.
