The Department of Environmental Affairs is not known to spend extensively on technology, but this week's National Tender Bulletin sees it doing just that, awarding eight tenders with a combined value of R63 million.

South African National Roads Agency SOC
SANRAL invites tenders from qualified bidder/s to enter into an agreement for database administration and managed services (Oracle, Microsoft SQL and MONGODB).
Note: Only service providers that are B-BBEE compliant and are between levels 1,2,3 or 4 are eligible. This agreement shall be valid for a period of 12 months, renewable at the discretion of SANRAL, and shall be limited to a period of three years from the date of award.
