Now available, new Pro9 Series Envelope Print System: improved ease of use, reliability, expanded media support

While the original Pro9000 Series A3 digital printers were launched three years ago, the new Pro9 Envelope Print System enables print shops and print houses to take advantage of evolving trends in direct marketing, while opening up new opportunities in printing invitations and other high quality mailed products.

OKI's Envelope Print System includes an envelope feeder and conveyer developed by OKI to help drive productivity. Easy to set up and with great media flexibility, the Envelope System includes an Envelope Fuser to reduce wrinkles and ensure uniform print across a wide range of designs.

The system prints onto envelope sizes ranging from C7 to 330mmx381mm (13-inchx15-inch) at speeds of up to 500DL envelopes in around 12 minutes, with output that rivals traditional offset printing presses.

The system can incorporate one of the three printers from the existing Pro9000 series, the Pro9431E model prints CMYK, the Pro9541E prints CMYK plus white or clear and the Pro9542 prints CMYK over white in one pass. All three printers have a straight-through paper path that supports envelopes, magnetic media, polyester, transparent film and heavier stock of up to 360gsm.

With the incorporation of the Pro9542, the envelope system offers brilliant white and striking colour envelopes, with exceptional, eye-catching results.

The Pro9000 series Envelope Print System is available and has been shown at FESPA Africa; the existing users of Pro9000 Series printers can buy the envelope feeder and conveyor separately to attach to their printers.
