Former Hollard and Mr Price Group CIO Antony Hlungwane and his business partner Fiona Millar have ventured into the online coaching business with new online platform, Future Ingenium.

In an interview with ITWeb, Hlungwane says Future Ingenium was founded in August 2019 and will officially launch on 27 July.

Hlungwane, who was a finalist in the annual Visionary CIO Award in 2013 and 2015, is also group CEO of the Unplugg Group, which this month concluded a strategic partnership with 4Sight Holdings to form 4Sight Unplugg.

Millar has extensive work experience both locally and abroad, and has, over the last 25 years, focused on individual and organisational development.

She recently moved out of corporate to realise her dream of becoming an entrepreneur, and alongside Hlungwane, is one of the founding partners of Future Ingenium.

Hlungwane describes Future Ingenium as an online coaching and organisational development platform, noting the key to the offering lies in the platform’s three enablers.

“Our online platform has been designed to assess users’ current requirements and their desired journey through a series of questions. This allows us to match their specific requirements to a solution relevant to their need.

“Throughout their online journey, they will be offered access to a combination of assessment tools, and a coach and/or psychologist to support and guide them in how to reach their desired outcome.”

He notes the user’s choice of assessment tools has been selected by Future Ingenium’s qualified team.

“Our specialists have an in-depth understanding of psychometrics, which comes from years of experience in the field. All assessment tools which form part of the Future Ingenium platform are online, valid, current, and relevant for users’ unique needs and will form an integral part of their development journey.”

He notes Future Ingenium’s coaches and psychologist have been specifically selected from a wide range of disciplines, ensuring all services from school-level career guidance all the way through to executive coaching, and organisational development is offered at the highest quality levels.

“Where possible, users will be given the choice of more than one professional, from which they can make their selection.”

He points out the Future Ingenium standards and quality control processes include regular supervision of all coaches and client feedback, enabling the team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

“All sessions are conducted online and all our coaches are tech-savvy. Future Ingenium aims to positively guide and shape the lives of people of all ages and phases as well as circumstances through advanced technology, fit for purpose assessments, and caring professionals with a genuine interest in people and organisational development.”

The Future Ingenium solution is cloud-hosted, says Hlungwane, adding: “We are still finalising plans to fully host on Azure over the next six to 12 months.”

The solution stack is based on Microsoft .net 3.1 and SQL server for the database.

“Our aim is to become the leading ‘go-to’ coaching platform in South Africa by the end of 2022 and a global contender by the end of 2025,” Hlungwane says.
