Sherwood International improves sales analytics with iSPartners hosted solution
Sherwood International, a provider of logistics services across Africa, has implemented iSPartners' hosted Dynamics CRM solution with Sales Performance configuration to gain better insight and management of its sales process.
“Sherwood International identified the need for a CRM solution as it needed a system to enable it to effectively manage its sales and leads process,” says Heath Turner, CRM Director at iSPartners. “As this was a greenfields implementation, and a hosted one at that, we opted for the seven-day QuickStart configuration that enabled us to get the system and staff up and running without unduly interfering with their daily operations.”
Sherwood International is now able to gain much-needed visibility of its sales pipeline, opportunity breakdowns and forecasting through automated workflows and notifications and reminders, removing manual resources and time-intensive processes.
The project roll-out was further simplified due to the nature of the hosted solution as no additional configuration or complex integration with Sherwood's existing infrastructure was required.
iSPartners, a Microsoft gold certified partner, draws on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform to deliver these services and also offers marketing and CRM analytics solutions in addition to its sales performance module.
“We are seeing a growing interest in hosted solutions due to the comparative simplicity of deployment, while the added advantages of a fully managed service that includes licence and support fees is very compelling,” says Turner.
The use of iSPartners' rapid implementation mechanism adds further appeal for customers as it uses pre-built assets and capabilities to deliver a set number of customisations and functionality in a short timeframe. By implementing the required services within a narrow scope and in such a short period, the customer is also able to ensure high adoption by users.
The integration with the familiar Microsoft Office working environment is a key success factor for iSPartners, without sacrificing the power of the tools delivered under the Dynamics CRM solution.
“Staff and management now have a common 360^0 view on their customers, including demographics, contact information as well as critical sales-related data such as opportunity status,” adds Turner. “This information is all combined into a single view that allows Sherwood to view performance on overall sales targets, as well as the sales pipeline.”
