It's a quiet week from the National Tender Bulletin as the aftershocks of Finance Minister Tito Mboweni's budget presentation spread throughout government.
It's not all bad news, however, as notices from national departments provide positive indicators that the top tier of government is still interested in engaging with the industry. In a surprising development, it is the State IT Agency (SITA) that comes to the ICT sector's rescue, placing numerous advertisements under its own name and the names of its customers.
The latest issue strongly favours software providers followed by hardware and the services sector with several calls for support and maintenance.
