ZTE becomes one of the first group of partners in China Mobile Open NFV test lab

ZTE (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, is pleased to be selected as one of the first group of partners in China Mobile's Open NFV Test lab, aiming at driving the global adoption and commercialisation of NFV (network function virtualisation) technology.

The China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab, run by China Mobile Research Institute, announced ZTE as one of the first group of partners today on the NFV workshop and China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab Signing Ceremony at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai conference. Partners of the China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab include integration vendors, IT software vendors and equipment vendors.

ZTE is strengthening its capabilities in SDN and NFV technologies, which are key areas of strategic focus for the company. With projects including the virtualised core network, ZTE is increasing investments in research and development of NFV infrastructure and virtual data centres (VDC) to help customers deploy these key technologies.
