TIBCO Software has announced that Bloor Research has awarded TIBCO iProcess Suite its top honour, the Platinum Award.
This selection follows an extensive and comprehensive review of current business process management (BPM) offerings, including those from BEA, IBM, Oracle, and Fujitsu.
The research report, "Business process management - the next generation of business enablers," published in November 2006, provides an in-depth review of the business drivers behind BPM, market directions and future trends.
Bloor Research's BPM report evaluates vendors in six key product areas: process modelling, human interaction support, proactive and reactive capability, process improvement, management support and system integration. In order to be included in the report, vendors had to attain the minimum required score in all six areas which constitute Bloor Research's BPM component stack.
As the only BPM vendor to receive the Platinum Award, TIBCO was lauded for its unique achievement in qualifying at the gold level in both the people-centric and systems-centric BPM sub-types identified in the report.
