With Instant Cloud Recovery (ICR) Backup Exec, users can create automatically updated off-site replicas of virtual machines in the Azure cloud for a quick failover in case of a disaster.
This enables Backup Exec customers to minimise the recovery point objective and recovery time objective for business-critical virtual machine workloads, realising the benefits of cloud as a dynamic disaster recovery platform.
Instant Cloud Recovery requires an Azure subscription and supports VMware and Hyper-V Virtual Machines.
Backup Exec Instant Cloud Recovery provides a summary view, monitoring, replication health details, and key actions directly from the familiar Backup Exec console.
