AfricaCom, Africa’s largest technology, media and telecoms conference and exhibition, returns to Cape Town for its 22 instalment, from 12 to 14 November.

Featuring new tracks such as the Women in Tech Centre Stage Takeover and the Future of Work event, AfricaCom 2019 is expected to host over 15 000 attendees, speakers and exhibitors.

Here are the top reasons to attend:

1. AfricaTech and the AfricaTech Centre Stage

A new addition to AfricaCom dedicated to ICT and enterprise digital transformation, AfricaTech includes a zoned exhibition, free-to-attend content covering the latest disruptive technologies, including blockchain, IoT and AI.

AfricaCom Centre Stage, the centrepiece of AfricaTech, will feature organisations at the forefront of 4IR.

2. The AfricaCom Headliners

Featuring 30 of Africa's most prominent digital thought-leaders, the AfricaCom Headliners will be discussing the issues impacting the journey towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Topics such as ‘Transforming Citizens’ lives through Intelligent Connectivity’ and ‘Building A Fully Connected, Intelligent Africa’ will be covered by the continent’s digital thought-leaders.

3.  400 tech and telco innovators

There will be hundreds of exhibitors from all over the continent, plus global giants, showcasing solutions covering AI, 5G, fintech and more.

4. Data Centres Africa

A new event delivering expert guidance on global data centre trends, with topics including attracting global businesses and new strategies in powering reliable data centres.
