The ICT sector has much to consider this week, despite a slim edition of the National Tender Bulletin.
Interest largely rests on software requirements, followed by services to support the government's software requirements. Hardware, however, is not entirely neglected as the bulletin opens with several opportunities to attract that area of the sector.
The end of the issue once again offers much to ponder as government shelves several projects and awards a number of interesting contracts. Notices to keep an eye out for include one from the Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services announcing the five legal providers that will assist the department to draft ICT legislation, and a number of tender awards from the Department of Labour amounting to about R800 million.
