Intronis, a provider of cloud backup and data protection solutions for the IT channel, has unveiled the Intronis ECHOplatform.
The company says, purpose-built exclusively for IT service providers, the new Intronis ECHOplatform serves as the foundation of its data protection and business recovery solution.
Available now, the new Intronis ECHOplatform delivers a secure, scalable and cloud backup and data recovery solution, supporting a variety of in-demand services, plug-ins and extensions such as server and laptop imaging, VMware and Hyper-V, SQL and Exchange backup. Bare metal restore and file synch and share will also be available soon, says Intronis.
It adds that the solution, engineered to simplify delivery of cloud backup and data protection services for channel partners, features an open application programming interface, integration with professional service automation and remote monitoring and management tools and technologies, and a management portal that provides a single pane of glass view of all account activity.
The company notes that the new Intronis ECHOplatform is available exclusively to channel partners at a flat, monthly cost for unlimited cloud and local storage. The new predictable pricing model, called the Intronis U2 Plan, removes storage limits and enables channel partners to perfect cost predictability each month.
Additionally, the company explains, the Intronis U2 Plan makes it easier for channel partners to deliver customisable services using the Intronis ECHOplatform, which will increase their revenue potential and scale their profit as storage, devices and application usage grows.
