Photos of what are claimed to be "the most extensive iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C part leak yet" have been leaked onto an Apple leaks Web site.

The Sonny Dickson blog has published numerous photos that it claims to have gotten from a source within the Apple supply chain. The photos show side-by-side images of the computing giant's upcoming two handsets - the iPhone 5S and the budget iPhone or iPhone 5C.

The gallery shows images of what is seemingly the iPhone 5S's new display assembly, including the casings, vibration motor, audio jack, SIM trays, and front and rear cameras.

The rumoured champagne-gold version of the iPhone also makes an appearance in the photo set, as well as red version of the iPhone 5C.

Meanwhile, another photo showing iPhone 5C units undergoing quality testing has reportedly been leaked by one of Apple's major suppliers, Pegatron. The photo is said to have been posted by an employee from Pegatron's Shanghai plant.

In addition to the leaked images, it is also expected that the next iPhone could boast an A7 chip that's 31% faster than the chip in the iPhone 5, according to tech blog Mashable.

This comes alongside reports that Apple is testing 64-bit A7 processors in some of its iPhone 5S prototypes, which could potentially enable the phone to better handle graphical animations, as well as provide better performance per watt, notes the blog.

The rumour mill has been churning out iPhone leaks for months in the build-up to the release of the company's iPhone 5S. The new handset was rumoured to be set for release on 10 September, but according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the launch date has been postponed to the end of September "due to supply constraints".

A budget iPhone, supposedly to be called the iPhone 5C, is expected to be launched around the same time, although Apple has not confirmed the release of a low-cost handset. Recent rumours showed the phone will not be as low-cost as expected, and will allegedly retail at around $400 to $500.
