Nuance scans documents in the cloud

Content management provider, Nuance has unveiled the latest version of its PaperPort scanning product, with a cloud service and mobile applications that give users access to documents from virtually anywhere, reports Fierce Content Management.

It's aimed more at a consumer market than the enterprise, but it's applicable to anyone who wants to access documents quickly.

PaperPort Anywhere for Windows, iPhone, iPad, and Android is free to use for up to 1GB of searchable storage, according to App Scout.

EON says PaperPort 14 expands on the capabilities most valued by its millions of loyal users: fast and simple scanning, easy-to-use document organisation, robust support for PDF, and connectivity to network folders and applications.

Robert Weideman, GM and senior VP for the Nuance Document Imaging Division, says: “The new release will make people more organised and productive, and turns PaperPort into the universal desktop for documents and files in the cloud.”
