Server Technology releases ST Eye app

Remote power and environmental monitoring of STI CDUs from your Android device.

The new Server Technology "ST Eye" app is designed to allow easy access of power, system and environmental information from Server Tech Cabinet Power Distribution Units, eliminating the need to connect a computer or physically connect to get information from the PDU when installed in the back of a cabinet.

"This revolutionary new feature allows the user to easily access critical PDU power and environmental information quickly and securely, right from their Android phone," said Darrian Bhana of AdleRac.

With this technology, data centre IT staff will have the ability to easily access a Server Technology PDU's graphic user interface via Bluetooth connection or QR Code scan. Users will have the capability of accessing PDU data remotely without unlocking a cabinet or entering the hot isle. A plug-and-play installation makes getting started easy and the application itself is a free download.
