PC-WARE enters North African market: Subsidiary in Algeria is being formed

Leipzig, 03 Dec 2009

PC-Ware Information Technologies continues its strategy of internationalisation by establishing PC-WARE North Africa in Algiers, Algeria. The offerings of the company cover both the fields of data centre and software licensing and services.

“Our decision to enter the Algerian market is once again a consequence to our customers' needs and establishing an organisation here clearly underlines our commitment to fulfil those. Being one of the world's biggest oil- and gas-exporting countries and having large natural reserves, Algeria will continue to be an exciting market for our globally operating customers from the hydrocarbons industry - and thus, it is for us,” says Dr Klaus Elsbacher, CEO of PC-WARE.

The portfolio of PC-WARE North Africa will comprise licensing and services in the fields of integration, virtualisation, high availability, IT security, storage, consolidation, multi-vendor helpdesk, infrastructures and communication, maintenance, asset management as well as hardware procurement. Besides the telecommunications, oil and gas industry, the company wants to actively participate in the development strategy of public ICT in Algeria with providing their support, expertise and experience.

Djaoued Salim Allal, the appointed General Manager for PC-WARE North Africa, is confident in establishing a profitable organisation soon: “Our team of 15 is highly competent having a strong background and experience in the Algerian market. We know our customers very well and we know how to make them more successful in their undertakings. This know-how will leverage our business in the short run and help us achieve our goal of becoming one of the leading ICT providers in the Algerian IT market.”
