Fujitsu introduces new human-centric displays for the workplace

News facts:
* New flagship 24-inch display provides presence sensor for data security, energy saving and deep integration for unified communications and collaboration with built-in Microsoft Lync features.
* Anti-glare 21.5-inch touchscreen developed specially for deployment at point of sale.

Munich, 06 Nov 2014

Fujitsu today announces the Fujitsu Display P24T-7 LED, its new flagship display that features a patent-applied presence sensor and an integrated call and status indicator, which is ideal for use in open plan office environments, providing a gateway to native integration with the next-generation of unified communications and collaboration (UC&C).

Fujitsu's focus on human-centric innovation shows through in small touches. For example, the presence sensor with a PC lock solution automatically dims and locks the user's desktop when they move away from their desk for longer than 40 seconds, while a built-in USB port ensures easy connection of peripherals and accessories. In doing so, the display provides both protection from unauthorised views and access to sensitive data, not to mention energy savings.

Combining the latest in balanced, natural LED lighting technology with the ergonomics of an individually adjustable 24-inch screen with wide-viewing angle, the new premium-line Fujitsu Display P24T-7 LED is a perfect companion for enterprises that have adopted Microsoft Lync as a business-wide collaboration system. The display's no compromise specification delivers native integration with important UC&C features such as a call and status indicator, meaning colleagues can see at a glance when a user is on a call, or engaged in an online meeting. Two new Fujitsu USB headsets with microphone, sold separately, are the perfect companions to the P24T-7 LED, as they are designed for comfortable, all-day wear.

Fujitsu Display E22 Touch

Fujitsu also introduces a new 21.5-inch anti-glare display with a robust touch-screen designed for demanding 'front-line' point of sale and digital signage environments. The Fujitsu Display E22 Touch supports up to 10-finger touch when coupled with the latest versions of Microsoft's Windows operating system. It features a non-glossy screen design to avoid the compromise of glare - reducing eye strain and the impact of smeary fingerprints as well as maximising screen clarity and visibility. The new E22 Touch boasts USB 3.0 connections, built-in speakers and different position-arrangements, making it a perfect all-rounder as the front-end of a checkout, in-store demo point, or reception information hub.

Dieter Heiss, Vice-President, Client Computing Devices at Fujitsu
"The importance of the display is often overlooked in an office environment. In adding human-centric touches such as a presence sensor and clear status indicator lamp built in to the new P Line display and the anti-glare screen of the adjustable E22 Touch, Fujitsu is helping to advance the use of unified office communication, while built in access to accessories helps to declutter the desktop."

Availability

The Fujitsu Display P24T-7 LED is available to order from December. The Fujitsu Display E22 Touch is available for immediate order. Prices and availability vary by region.
