Durban, 03 Oct 2014

Last month, Sage launched its new Sage Intelligence Academy, a one-stop online shop that caters to your Sage Intelligence and Microsoft Excel training needs. The company understands the need for comprehensive and convenient online learning; as such the new academy is built on a learning platform that is simple and intuitive to use.

Although this is not Sage's first online training solution, this version boasts a set of new features which include international payments via PayPal, as well as a fresh interface and dashboard that allows you to access information easily.

Learning Services Manager Heidi Lambson is very proud of the new academy, her team worked on it tirelessly in the past couple of months. She says: "We had the challenge of upskilling our customers and Report Writers globally, so we needed a comprehensive online solution that is easy to use and can host a variety of anytime learning courses and can be bought online in multiple currencies.

"We investigated the trends in e-learning technology and, after careful research, decided on an intuitive system that we're very excited about. Our Academy utilises unique functionality that boasts interactive lessons which allow you to recreate the steps that you have learned in the previous lesson, hence, helping you to understand and retain that information better."

The courses offered on the academy are intended to provide you with the knowledge you need to maximise your investment in Microsoft Excel and Sage Intelligence, the company's Excel-based business intelligence reporting tool. After attending them you will be empowered with the skills to make full use of the reporting and analysis capabilities of Excel and Sage Intelligence.

Sage has strived to make learning fun, interactive and convenient for you on the Sage Intelligence Academy.
