This week's National Tender Bulletin holds a number of interesting titbits for the local ICT industry. The South African Social Security Agency is looking to outsource its ICT operations, maintenance and support; the Electoral Commission is setting up professional services panels around several competencies; and the Export Credit Insurance Corporation is placing rare advertisements for a number of its ICT requirements.

Not included in this update is an advertisement from the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform for architectural, quantity surveying, civil engineering and electrical engineering services. These consulting services are required for the development of an ICT centre structure, which the department says is to be rolled out nationally.
