South Africans have been eagerly waiting for the iPhone X.

iStore has announced pre-orders of iPhone X are available from today for cash purchases from the starting price of R20 499.

The smaller 64GB device will sell for just over R20 000 and the larger 256GB for R23 999.

New cellular contracts and upgrades for iPhone X on Vodacom, MTN, and Telkom will be available at all iStores from the week of 24 November 2017.

Apple rolled out its much-anticipated iPhone X, a redesigned product of glass and stainless steel with an edge-to-edge display that Apple CEO Tim Cook called "the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone" last month.

Since then, South African consumers have been eagerly anticipating the smartphone with some purchasing it via online market place such as bidorby.

iStore says pre-ordering online today gives customers the benefit of reserving their purchase without having to queue and the added convenience of having purchases delivered directly their door. Pre-orders of iPhone X cash purchases are completed online by visiting www.myistore.co.za.
