Micro outsourcing company, Level 4, a division of listed telecommunications company and ISP, DataPro Group, have formed a strategic alliance with LEGALPERFECT, an industry leader in the development of conveyancing software for the legal fraternity.
The alliance will see the company assist its customers to upgrade and improve their internal networks and equipment.
Don Cameron, divisional director of Level 4, a specialist micro-outsourcing business focusing on network maintenance contracts and service level agreements, said the strategic alliance will increase his company`s footprint in the legal fraternity and contribute to its already rapidly growing support base.
"LEGALPERFECT has more than 800 customers, so it gives us a good foothold in a new market. LEGALPERFECT has been a customer for more than 10 years and this partnership is evident of the long-standing relationship with Level 4."
He believes the new alliance will contribute to improved efficiencies for the LEGALPERFECT customer base, commenting: "We aim to assist in the education of LEGALPERFECT`s customer, highlighting the businesses benefits of IT and how to maximise the return on investment in such technologies."
Many of the smaller legal firms are still using outdated computer equipment and are not harnessing the real benefits of Internet technology. "We would like to add value to these businesses and improve their understanding of how IT can maximise their business opportunities."
In addition, being part of a listed entity will increase our clout and perception in the marketplace in general, and we intend growing our revenue stream considerably during the next 12 to 24 months," said Cameron.
DataPro Group, which listed on AltX on 18 October, has a market capitalisation of R125 million.
