Sparx brings modelling support

Many individuals would like to see modelling tools become the major means for communicating between business and development writes TechTarget. A recent product release from UML modelling tool vendor, Sparx Systems, seeks to further that cause, as the software adds modelling support targeted at IT operations.

Integrating with the Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio, Sparx's Enterprise Architect 7.5 introduces editions aimed at the business community, software developers and systems or hardware designers.

The software can generate code from UML behavioural and rule-based models, and it can generate BPEL from BPMN 1.1 models.

It added that in today's economic environment, the only constant is change and it takes a dynamic infrastructure to allow an organisation to adapt quickly.
