BPM Works aligns value with tools

Cambridge-based BPM Works has perfected an approach and Web tools that ensure a company's value proposition is correctly aligned with the business challenges faced by its customers, reports Cambridge Network.

Well-articulated value propositions save money by making sure marketing communications address the business problems customers really want to solve.

“Often companies are so close to what they do it's hard to step back to see how well the value proposition aligns with the business challenges customers face", says BPM Works co-founder and director, Nick Siragher.

Law firm deploys dictation solution

Law firm Freehills has rolled out BigHand, a digital dictation workflow system, to more than 1 000 staff members in its Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane offices, with the Singapore office to follow later this month, says IT Wire.

Freehills will also install the voice productivity software in its offices as part of what it says is a strategic initiative to create a national document production service that is accessible instantly to lawyers and business services staff and that delivers client documentation of the highest standard.

Philippa Thornton, Freehills secretarial work practices manager, said yesterday that outstanding or in-progress documents at the law firm, as well as urgent or large dictations, could now be moved between individuals, teams or offices depending on workload, capacity or the time of day, maximising staff utilisation and skill sets, whilst also taking advantage of time-zone differences.

AlignSpace stimulates BPM collaboration

Software AG has developed and released a social network that aims to stimulate great collaboration between business process management professionals, writes SDA Asia.

Called AlignedSpace, the new product will available as a software-as-a-service offering.

The platform enables members to invite and connect with colleagues involved in process projects within their organisation as well as outside of it.
