Global Computing & Telecoms – Excellence in Social Impact Award winner (Dell Technologies)

Johannesburg, 22 Apr 2021

Techno-innovative company, Global Computing & Telecoms (GCT), won the prestigious Dell Technologies Excellence in Social Impact Award at an online event on 6 April 2021. This win follows the recent 2020 Microsoft MD Partner of the Year Award for GCT. A level one BEE-owned and women-empowered company, GCT has attained 13 Gold competencies, and features in the Top 10 Microsoft Partner list that has the most individuals certified in Microsoft Azure, Modern Workplace and Security.

Global Computing & Telecoms works closely with Dell’s training academy, The Khulisa Academy, which is designed to enable previously disadvantaged students to further enhance their IT capabilities.

GCT’s Managing Director and founder Sello Mbuli thanked Dell Technologies for this prestigious award. Mbuli stated it has been less than five years since the organisation has been founded, and despite it being a challenging industry, particularly for SMEs, that it was through God that the organisation has been successful. Mbuli also mentioned that many similar-sized organisations were struggling through the COVID-19 pandemic and South Africa’s current economic climate, and that GCT is grateful to be a part of a changing future.

GCT looks forward to showcasing agility and creativity that will help pave the way for a new world of business.
