As the majority of South Africa's cautiously return to work this week the ICT sector will need to consider whether the possibility of garnering government contracts will be worth the very real risk of attending tender briefings.
This week's National Tender Bulletin sees the return of briefings for half of the new tender advertisements, albeit non-compulsory. This is despite regulations restricting public gatherings due to the risk of the spread of COVID-19.
While the bulletin maintains its slim appearance, the ICT sector retains its relatively high interest levels. This week's edition sees new opportunities spread across the hardware, software and services sectors.
