Ready to rethink TV?

South Africans can now enjoy a superior cinematic experience in their very own homes with the local launch of the Hisense 4K Laser TV. Combining a high-resolution short-throw projector, integrated JBL home theatre sound system, wireless subwoofer and a 100-inch screen, this latest evolution in TV means that watching sport, movies and series will never be the same again.

For starters, the enormous anti-reflective screen evenly distributes colour and light to deliver a crisp, bright picture, regardless of ambient light, making it ideal for use in any room. Plus, it's portable and easy to install, with the sleek console needing to simply be placed 19cm away. The screen also provides a far more natural and immersive TV watching experience, particularly because viewers only need to be seated 4m away from the screen, as opposed to nine to watch a 100 inch LED TV, so any living room size limitations no longer exist.

Hisense has also optimised the TV viewing experience with its Dual Colour Laser Source making colours more accurate and vivid. The picture quality is further enhanced with 4K Resolution and 4K Upscaling technology, which analyses and upgrades any image in real time, irrespective of the content's source, to provide viewers with more authentic contrast and colour ,as well as extra pixels. Additionally, with High Dynamic Range expanding the TV's contrast ratio and colour palette, they can enjoy ultra-realistic, natural-looking images with true-to-life colours.

Sports fans, action movie aficionados and gamers will undoubtedly appreciate the TV's Smooth Motion technology which combines Motion Estimate, Motion Compensation and Black Image Insertion technologies to ensure that fast-moving images are always clear and free from blur.

Completing this cinema-like experience is the JBL sound system, comprising 14 independent speakers and a handmade wireless subwoofer which, together with dbx-tv audio technology, elevate the audio to give that movie theatre feel.

More than just a state-of-the-art projector and screen, the Hisense 4K Laser TV is equipped with a built-in TV tuner that receives, processes and displays broadcast signals. It also runs off a VIDAA U Smart platform that enables people to watch whatever they want via their favourite streaming apps, including Netflix, Showmax and YouTube. What's more, it comes with AnyView Cast to mirror content from Android devices on the screen.

Ryan Curling, Deputy Executive of Marketing at Hisense South Africa says: "We are thrilled to be bringing this breakthrough in display technology to South Africa. With 8 million pixels spread out over 100 inches of screen offering out-of-this-world picture quality, you really won't believe your eyes!"

The Hisense 4K Laser TV will be available at a cost of R150 000 from all stockists of Hisense products.
