PCs wanted for Xmas

Computers are ranked as the most desired gift this year in an annual US survey by the consumer electronics industry`s largest trade organisation, says TheLedger.com.

In preparation, PC vendors have come out with desktops and laptops to cover a variety of needs, budgets and styles.

There are machines for gamers, space-saving all-in-ones for home offices or kitchens, low-cost laptops for youths and ultra-lightweight notebooks. More than ever, alternatives to computers running Microsoft`s long-dominant Windows operating system are also hitting the market.

Wow edition notebook ready

Dell and Blizzard have got together to introduce the XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition notebook PC, says Techshout.com.

Consumers who pre-registered for early access during the "It Begins" mission, will get their gaming notebook right away. If not, the XPS M1730 will be available to all US customers on 11 December on www.dell.com/gaming.

Fully equipped for battle, the Dell XPS M1730 gaming notebook is adorned with custom Wow artwork in its exteriors as well as interior. Further on, also bundled are exclusive unique bonus items, along with a Wow backpack that is filled with game-themed items.
