Westcon-Comstor launches Poly Sync family of speakerphones

Westcon-Comstor Sub-Saharan Africa, a leading global distributor, has today announced the launch of the Poly Sync family USB/Bluetooth smart speakerphones, allowing workers to tap into a device that improves the quality of conference calls and take their office and music anywhere. With this device, users can now leave the bad quality of laptop and mobile phone speakers behind for a truly engaging conference call experience.

The Poly Sync 20 USB/Bluetooth smart speakerphone will connect seamlessly to your laptop via USB-A or USB-C and your smartphone via Bluetooth, and the Poly Sync 20+ model includes a BT600 adaptor for users looking to connect to their computers wirelessly. With its small form factor and slim portable casing, it is easy to store and is compatible with both Windows and Apple operating systems.

The Poly Sync family is fully compatible with leading video conferencing providers including, among others, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, BlueJeans, LogMeIn, Google and Amazon. Also, the devices include a three microphone steerable array and support audio pick-up from two metres away, making it ideal for home offices or small office rooms up to 4m by 4m and allows for seamless, natural conversations without interruption. In addition, its noise and echo reduction technology, coupled with full-duplex audio, add to its sound quality capabilities. All devices in the range are rated IP64 dust and water-resistant, and the ability to use it to play music is a nice extra, making the device serve multiple purposes.

The full suite of solutions in the Poly Sync family includes the Sync 20 and the Sync 20+, both of which will be available in late November. These will be followed by the release of the Sync 40 and the Sync 60, which will boast a richer meeting experience for more demanding users and will be available in the first quarter of 2021.
