The search for the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa's (IITPSA) 2015 IT Personality and Visionary CIO of the Year has reached the second round. Top 10 shortlists for both categories have been selected from a number of nominations received from the IT community, ITWeb readers and the public.
The IITPSA President's Awards is an annual highlight on the local ICT calendar. The event combines a long-standing awards ceremony with beneficial networking opportunities. The 2015 winners will be announced at an exclusive business breakfast at The Hilton Hotel, in Sandton, on 12 November.
The awards are presented by the IITPSA, in association with ITWeb, the Gordon Institute of Business Science and Gartner Africa. A portion of the event's proceeds will go to ITWeb's selected charity beneficiary, Matangari Primary School in Limpopo, a school in desperate need of a library to uplift the learners and the community at large.
