ViewSonic intros Pro8300 projector

ViewSonic, a provider of computing, consumer electronics and communications solutions, has revealed its Pro8300, a 1080p HD 3000 lumen projector to provide an unbeatable visual experience for business, education and home entertainment applications, Hot Hardware writes.

ViewSonic aims to popularise the 1080p Full HD projectors with affordability and premium quality.

Pro8300 has a high-lumen brightness that ensures rich and accurate colour performance in different ambient conditions.

According to Tech Radar, the technology used by ViewSonic to give the projector's images a little bit of a kick is called BrilliantColor and this is all pushed through the ViewSonic's Pixelwork PW980 10-bit image processor.

The projector is surprisingly 'short throw' as well, able to project 100-inch 16:9 images from a distance as low as 3.16m.

When it comes to connectivity, there are dual HDMI inputs one can use to connect it to a laptop, Blu-ray player, tablet or smartphone.
