Clayton Hayward is CTO of openVOICE. He studied mechanical engineering and cum lauded in 1994. He did a short stint at British Oxygen before becoming a serial entrepreneur in the IT sector. He was 24 when he opened his first company doing ERP software. In 2003, Hayward identified a need in the market for cost-efficient VOIP and IP telephony solutions. He started openVOICE with a group of experts in the telecommunications and IP telephony sectors. Hayward is an open source software enthusiast and brings technical and leadership skills to the board. openVOICE focuses on the design, delivery and implementation of converged telecommunications solutions via open source platforms.
