Walter Kruse is a software testing consultant at IndigoCube. He holds, among others, an ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Software Testing. Since early in his testing career, he has seen the value of leveraging scripting to help test faster, better, more. He describes himself as a tester who can code. In addition to conventional automated GUI test execution tools, Kruse became interested in open source software around the same time that his testing career started more than seven years ago. It was only natural that his interest and expertise focuses on the area where technical testing and open source tools overlap. He has successfully rolled out several open source solutions at various clients. Kruse is a regular author on the subject of software testing and test tools.
