Hannes Lategan is a senior business technology architect at CA Southern Africa, with over 28 years’ experience in the IT arena. He has worked in technical and managerial roles with VARs, vendors and OEMs. Lategan has been conducting enterprise management assessments from an operational, service and business service management perspective, including projecting the value of IT to both company executives and customers for some large organisations in SA. Over the years, he has garnered experience in the area of ICT management solutions and the capabilities related to providing insight into the value of these solutions to the business. Latterly, he has been involved in constructing solutions around the “data centre of the future†and its utilisation of technologies such as virtualisation and unified automation. Highlights of Lategan’s career include the design of management command centre solutions for a large European organisation, as well as for enterprise corporations in SA.
