Petrus Human joined Attix5, an international provider of secure data management, storage and restoration, specialising in virtualisation and cloud-based solutions, in 2003. Based in the UK, Human specialises in IT operations, backup, recovery and disaster recovery of physical or virtual on-premises and cloud-based solutions. He started his career as a network systems administrator and is now the company’s chief technical officer. He is responsible for all aspects of global support and new product initiatives and development think-tanks. Human has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of backup, restore and disaster recovery solutions during his 11 years with Attix5, and has presented at a number of conferences and roundtable events. He has also provided valuable input into many customer backup solutions by reviewing the environments and making recommendations as to the implementation to ensure good governance and effective DR solutions.
