Ben van Niekerk is an application development specialist focusing on Compuware's development and integration solutions. He has 12 years of experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle. He joined Compuware in 1998 in a senior consultant role, and was responsible for providing application design, development, project management, installations, application migration, conversion skills and the development of testing strategies for a range of clients in various countries. He moved into his current role in 2002. Van Niekerk's qualifications include a BCom (Informatics) degree completed in 1995 and BCom (Informatics) Honours degree completed in 1999, both from the University of Pretoria. Prior to working at Compuware, he worked at QData Consulting, where he led the team working on the Paradigm Project for which he received a performance award from QData.
