Hans Horn started his career in his country of birth, the Netherlands, in 1989 at Apple Computer after which he joined the copier and printing division of Agfa where he fulfilled several sales and sales management roles, before he joined Lexmark International in 1996. After starting his career as sales manager of Lexmark Netherlands, he was promoted within two years to managing director. Horn joined Lexmark South Africa as managing director in 2002 after the acquisition of long-standing partner, Venture Computer. In his three years in SA, he has headed the transition of Lexmark into a full-fledged subsidiary aligned with the Lexmark EMEA model. Under his leadership, Lexmark South Africa has seen its business grow steadily, and is now looking at exploring the possibilities, together with its partners, of further growth into Sub-Saharan countries.
