Thomas Cronje is a solutions architect focusing on Compuware's application reliability solution and IT governance. He has good knowledge of the various methodologies and best practices used within the testing and quality assurance arena covering the complete development lifecycle. These typically include RUP, ITIL, TMap, TPI, British Standard for Software Testing and Quality Point from Compuware. At Compuware South Africa, Cronje is application software quality manager for Middle East and Africa, responsible for a team of technical consultants, who specialise in various software development lifecycle- and quality lifecycle-related disciplines. These include development productivity improvement, requirements management, test management, test automation, defect management and system performance testing. He was accredited with the Certified Information Systems Auditor in 1998 and British Computer Society's ISEB: Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (2000). He is a member of the Project Manager Institute of South Africa (1999), and has 18 years' business and technical experience.
