Siva Patherâs contact centre career began eight years ago, as a call centre agent for outsourced company Sykes Enterprises. He soon moved up a level to team leader, which was followed by promotions to operations management and call centre management positions. He joined Dimension Data in 2001 and initially operationally managed and provided strategic input for several outsourced contact centres within Merchants, a wholly-owned Dimension Data company specialising in outsourcing of contact centres. Two years later, Pather moved into his current position as business solutions architect at Dimension Data's Customer Interactive Solutions (CIS) business unit. In this position, he is required to play a thought leadership role for the client with regards to CIS architectures. His responsibilities include the marketing and realisation of the CIS architectural strategy for Dimension Data customers.
