Etienne Meyer

MD of Cubic Blue.

Etienne Meyer is MD of Cubic Blue. Meyer is a TOGAF-certified architect who specialises in enterprise architecture, project management, IT governance and data governance. Prior to his position as MD of Cubic Blue, which is a company in the Knowledge Integration Dynamics (KID) group, Meyer was a managing consultant at KID. KID offers professional consulting services for business intelligence, data warehousing, data integration, data quality, and master data management. He held the position for almost three years, and was responsible for many related projects at FNB, Business Connexion, MultiChoice SA and Africa, Macsteel SA, and more. Prior to that, he spent over five years at FNB Commercial, as an enterprise architect, technology capability and risk manager. He was responsible for establishing the architecture practice in the organisation. He was previously technical specialist and project manager at FNB, and before that, a senior software implementation consultant at Facilities Management Africa, a subsidiary of RMB. His career began in January 1999 and he has worked for FNB on the IT helpdesk, asset management and financial analysis systems implementation, as business analyst, systems and database administrator, and technical support specialist, then later for MGX as a professional services consultant. Meyer’s numerous roles have resulted in experience in uniting diverse groups of people and teams to achieve common goals, across IT and business, while ensuring governance requirements were met.
