Simeka BSG wants longer name

AltX-listed Simeka BSG has told shareholders that it wants to change its name.

Yesterday afternoon the company announced it would hold its annual general meeting on 23 November. At this meeting, shareholders will be asked to approve the change of name to Simeka Business Solutions Group Limited.

The new name will "more closely reflect" the company's main business, it said.

If shareholders approve the change, Simeka BSG hopes to implement the change at the close of business on 14 December.
