Accsys, a national provider of HR and payroll management solutions, has started a long-term campaign to invest in energy efficient technology.
The company has devised an extensive green initiative, following the roll-out of its Peopleware 7 Enterprise solution offering.
Accsys CEO, Teryl Schroenn, says: “The substantial reduction of paperwork and the increase in productivity due to automated systems makes a significant and lasting difference to businesses.
“Peopleware Enterprise offers the immediate benefits of key concepts, such as biometric identification, access control, Web-based employee self-service, electronic archiving of reports and virtualisation.”
Schroenn notes that in a company of 100 salaried employees, the equivalent of 1 200 printed payslips can be saved per annum by allowing the employee access to his or her current and previous payslips online.
Schroenn points out: “Gone are the days where cabinets have to be filled with hard copies of payroll registers and other payroll information. With a proper backup system in place, the integrated HR and payroll software allows the retrieval of historical reports from the day the software is implemented.”
