US-based GoGrid, a global cloud computing division of ServePath, has signed a partnership deal with Tap In Systems, developer of a new cloud-based systems management service.

GoGrid said in a statement that the partnership will see Tap In's Cloud Management Service (CMS) becoming integrated into the GoGrid cloud infrastructure. Users can organise their IT infrastructure across multiple platforms.

Tap In Systems' CMS is a cloud-based, scalable monitoring service which manages both cloud and on-premises systems, providing status and performance data, and reporting to keep applications running smoothly.

GoGrid CEO, John Keagy, says: “GoGrid's deep expertise in hosting, coupled with Tap In Systems' breadth of experience in enterprise-class monitoring, creates a powerful combination for companies wanting to take full advantage of the cloud.

“As companies are deploying more hybrid IT environments, Tap In Systems is able to provide enterprise-class monitoring required to maintain optimal performance of systems and applications.”

According to GoGrid, CMS is able to provide monitoring in a single cloud, across different cloud architectures, as well as in hybrid (cloud and on-premise) environments - all visible and controlled from the same desktop interface.

Tap In's service is deployed as an on-demand service and billed per instance hour or monthly, with the ability for customers to turn monitoring instances on and off as needed, as well as scale up or down as infrastructure grows.
