Computer Associates International, Inc today announced the transformation of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems globally. As part of the transformation, CA has selected mySAP ERP, SAP`s ERP software. CA will also work with Accenture, which will assist in the end-to-end ERP transformation.
The transformation process, which begins immediately, will be driven by CA in collaboration with Accenture, leveraging Accenture`s knowledge of SAP software and expertise in business processes.
"mySAP ERP will allow CA to achieve unprecedented levels of financial transparency, while enabling CA to operate more efficiently, provide better service to customers and implement the necessary infrastructure to support CA`s growth initiatives," said CA`s chief information officer, Kevin Kern.
"After a thorough assessment process, CA found mySAP ERP to provide the most complete, scalable and effective ERP software solution available today to meet CA`s unique business requirements," continued Kern. The implementation team has mobilised CA subject matter expertise and will look to adopt global best practices through SAP and Accenture. The global transformation will focus on four key areas: core financials, business intelligence, customer relationship management, e-procurement and sourcing.
