JSE-listed holding company Community Technologies (C-Tech) has landed in hot water again as the JSE warned investors that the audit opinion on the company`s year-end results has been disclaimed.
C-Tech, which is the holding company for several businesses including Community Technologies, EBS, Wonderland Amusement Centres and The Famous Butchers Grill, was warned earlier this month that it was late in submitting its year-ends.
In addition to these transgressions, the company has yet to appoint a sponsor as part of the Johannesburg bourse`s new listing requirements.
Although C-Tech`s share price traded somewhat higher than other technology stocks at 10c for the past week, it took a pounding this morning, losing a third of its value, changing hands at 6c shortly before noon.
The stock trades in very low volume and with the misdemeanours piling up against it, all eyes are on the JSE to see what action will be taken.
