Tradek CEO Paul Theron has resigned his post after a change of control at the online broking firm.
Tradek announced last week that it had been acquired by Northpark Trading 47, a consortium led by Peter Gray, a Tradek non-executive director and former MD of SocGen SA.
The consortium is planning to delist Tradek after making an offer to minority shareholders.
Gray has replaced Theron as CEO, while Theron has become a non-executive director.
Theron told ITWeb`s sister site, ZAFinance.com, that he will remain a non-executive director until the deal and delisting is completed. He said he would consider his options before deciding what to do next year.
"I am an entrepreneur at heart, and I have some ideas of what I will do, which will probably involve my experience in technology and client services, perhaps even financial services."
