Accenture is estimating a 2% increase in net revenue to $11.82 billion for the year to August, while diluted earnings per share are expected to rise by 87.5% from $0.56 to $1.05.

Diluted earnings per share for the previous fiscal year included a loss on investments of $321 million, or $0.28 a share, and a real estate consolidation charge of $111 million, or $0.07 a share.

Operating income is expected to be about $1.55 billion, and the group says operating income as a percentage of net revenues is expected to be 13.1%.

Outsourcing is expected to account for about $3.57 billion of net revenues, an increase of 37% over the previous fiscal year. Consulting revenues are expected to be about $7.92 billion of net revenue, a 10% decrease.

The Europe, Middle East and Africa region is expected to achieve net revenue of about $5.35 billion, up 8%. Revenue in the Americas is expected to fall 3% to $5.67 billion and Asia Pacific is expected to show a 2% increase to about $0.79 billion.

"While our performance in a single quarter isn`t necessarily an indication of future trends, we are encouraged by the 12% growth in revenues we achieved in the fourth quarter, as well as by our 2% growth for the full year," says chairman and CEO Joe Forehand.

The group says the preliminary results for the fourth quarter and full year are subject to review procedures and final reconciliation and adjustments.

The full-year and quarterly results are expected to be announced on 9 October.
