Sony Ericsson and local band The Parlotones have partnered to make the band's new album, 'Stardust Galaxies', exclusively available on the cellphone vendor's W995 Walkman phone.
According to Sony Ericsson, Stardust Galaxies will be available on the W995 Walkman phone from mid-September to end October. It will also include exclusive content, wallpapers, a never-seen-before music video, ring tones and themes, accessible via a bespoke microsite that owners of the W995 will be able to access.
Sonja Shear, head of marketing at Sony Ericsson SA, says, “With our previous international music collaborations with Pink, Usher, and Lenny Kravitz, a local partnership was a natural strategic progression; hence our partnership with The Parlotones, whom have made such a significant imprint on the local and international stage.”
