Following the application of Siltek Holdings (Pty) Ltd to be placed under provisional liquidation, storage and value-added distribution company and Siltek subsidiary, Intelligent Systems (Pty) Ltd, will continue to trade as usual.
Dave Lello, CEO of Siltek Limited, has confirmed that there is no need for concern among Intelligent Systems` customers and vendors.
Chris Roux, MD of Intelligent Systems, says that since Siltek is a shareholder in Intelligent Systems, the Siltek Holdings circumstances will have little or no bearing on its business.
"Intelligent Systems is self-sufficient and able to carry out its business without requiring any support from Siltek Holdings," says Lello.
Roux adds that Intelligent Systems is able to continue trading as an independent legal entity as it has done for the past 12 years. "We are profitable and the Siltek shareholding in Intelligent Systems will be dealt with in due course," Roux says.
